Bikram Yoga

Today I started a $21, 21 days challenge to do yoga in a heated room 105 degrees and 40% Humidity.  The benefits I read about are all what my body needed.  I hurt my back at work a couple of weeks ago and stopped hiking.  I was working up to 1.5 hours when another fork in the road turned me.  I get distracted easily because life is so busy and so many trials keep me struggling along.  I was really nervous and couldn’t sleep well once I decided to do it. I was worried about getting hungry, dizzy, to hot in my face, and my stiff back from several auto accidents over the years.  (One was my fault, least I sound like a bad driver :’0).  So I am hoping for weight loss, energy, skin improvement, structure improvement, mental clarity, less sugar cravings, to start.  I was so happy I finished the class without leaving.  I was surprised to even do most of the routine as I was told the first time you just need to practice breathing and mentally take in the heat.  Yoga is amazing!  I have never followed it consistently but when my back was not doing well I could do one session and see a big improvement on how it felt.  Some say this is the thing to do to get the best results.  I started at the beautiful new spa at Thanksgiving Point in Utah called the Brick Canvas.  I will post weekly my progress and hopefully stick with it.  Hugs Linda

I did not keep up the Bikram Yoga as it was to far to drive regularly and I was to tired to keep doing it because of health challenges. :O<
